As a result of these tough economic times the Southwest Prostate Cancer Foundation (SWPCF) has
adjusted our fund raising efforts to fit the current times. We are requesting that you send us ten cents
(one thin dime) in order to assist us in funding our effort to provide Free Prostate Cancer Screenings to
men across Arizona. If your heart inclines you to send $1.00 or 10 thin dimes or 100 thins or $10.00 this
would be greatly appreciated. One PSA blood draw cost us $66.00 per man. Providing screening for 100
men would cost $6600.00. In 2008, 664,344 Arizona males were uninsured and another 500,000 were
under insured. Please help us stand in the gap for over one million Arizona men.
We have partnered with Banner Health Medical Centers and Abrazo Health Care to help provide these
services to men in Arizona. In order to maintain our commitment to Churches, Synagogues, Mosques and
community based organizations we are seeking your help.
We are attempting to provide men and their families the education/awareness about annual screening,
diet, exercise and spirituality that will arm them with the ability to make the proper decision about
prostate cancer. All men should be aware that prostate cancer is NOT a death sentence.
Please share this life saving request with at least 20 of your friends and associates and ask them to share
it with 20 of their friends. The SWPCF wants YOU to join the ARMY OF THINS and assist us in saving
